The TDU AGM was held on Friday, 9th November 2007 at 8pm in Sport HQ. Many thanks to those who attended. During the course of the meeting all motions were passed, although two were amended and the new committee was elected. Conor Ryan stood down from the position of Treasurer and was thanked by all for his contribution to the committee in recent years.

Motions must be submitted in written format and received in the Offices of the Irish Canoe Union a minimum of 14 days prior to the date of the AGM. Each motion must be proposed and seconded by persons who are current voting members of the Training Unit.

Updated downloads: Four updated downloads are now available from the website. These are provided in a presentation type format so that they may be used as instructors in the course of their activities.

- Open Canoe Symposium: An Open Canoe Symposium has been
organised for the weekend of the 5th-6 th May, with an option for people to
stay for an extra day on the 7th. The event will be held in the
